At Disney, there's so much to see and do that it can be a bit overwhelming, especially if you're a first-time visitor. But don't worry - I'm here to help! With my Effortless Essentials Vacation Planning services, you'll have everything you need to make your Disney Vacation stress-free and enjoyable.

Best of all, my Effortless Essentials services are included in the cost of your vacation, so you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by working with me. Even if you could book your vacation on your own, you'd miss out on my expert knowledge and support, not to mention the time and effort it takes to research all of the different vacation packages.

Simply put, you can’t afford not to work with me!

Disney FAQs

  • I’m here to help you book your trip, even if it's just a few days before your preferred dates. However, you might want to consider booking earlier to get the best pricing and availability. Did you know that Disney releases reservations for the following year around mid-summer? This means that we can book over a year in advance! For the best dining and experience reservations, I recommend booking at least 80 days in advance. By booking your vacation well in advance, we'll have plenty of time to make your experience truly magical and ensure that you have the vacation of your dreams.

  • Planning a Disney Vacation can be as hands on or as carefree as you would like it to be, however, our working relationship is a partnership. Clients who do not meet deadlines for information requests or payment deadlines forfeit full access to services without a refund.

  • Disney is a magical destination for both the young and the young at heart. I have taken my babies to Disney since they were infants and they have loved every minute of it. Many attractions at Disney have no height requirement and your little ones can snuggle in your lap while you take a cruise through the jungle or dive into a classic Winnie the Pooh story.

    If you’re only going once and you want to know the absolute, most precious age to take your kids to Disney, I would say it is 6-8.

  • A Disney vacation is an investment in memories and magic and how much you choose to spend on your vacation is a deeply personal choice. In general, you should expect to spend at minimum $275+ per person per day, depending on the season and your hotel and ticket selections. The good news is, when you book with me, you can be sure to get the best value for your trip as I am always monitoring for discounts and I am excellent at planning trips that fit within any budget.

  • There are many dining options at the Disney parks, from fine dining to quick service kiosks. As a general rule, you should budget at least $50 per person, per day if you plan to eat every meal and snack at a Disney restaurant. With my vast knowledge of restaurants at Disney, I can make your dining budget stretch further.

  • The Disney Resorts are way more than theme parks!

    When you are at Disney, you become a part of the story. From the immersive theming at the hotels to world class dining and entertainment, there is something for everyone at Disney.

    One of my favorite things about the Disney Hotels and restaurants is that they are themed based on different locations and eras and do not rely on Disney characters for their charm and decor.

  • Absolutely, YES!

    Both of my children are pretty wary of any rides that “make their tummy tickle”, and they both have loads of fun at Disney. There are several attractions in each park that have no height restrictions and are accessible to people of all ages, abilities and thrill tolerance.

    In addition to rides, there are world class shows, parades and nighttime spectaculars, not to mention the food! There truly is something for everyone on a Disney vacation.

  • Effortless Enchantment is a travel planning service operating as an independent agent under Boardwalk Travel Agency. Effortless Enchantment is fully insured and I am a registered seller of travel in Washington State, California and Florida and am CLIA certified.

  • Wow!

    It's kind of embarrassing to admit, but I've been to Disney parks so many times that I've lost count.

    I've had the pleasure of experiencing almost every single attraction, restaurant, and hotel, often multiple times. I've also gone with groups of all sizes and ages, so I have a wide range of experience to draw from.

    With my insider knowledge, I can help ensure that your group has the best possible time at the parks and creates unforgettable memories!

  • All you need to start planning your fabulous vacation is fill out my Vacation Planning Survey.

    It's super easy quick and easy!

    At the end of the survey, you’ll be prompted to schedule an online meeting with me so that we can chat and make sure we're both on the same page about your amazing trip.

    After you submit the survey, I'll send you an email with the next steps.

  • Effortless Enchantment books Disney related travel, which includes Disney hotel and Disney park tickets and ground transportation between your Disney Resort Hotel and the airport as well as select transportation while on Disney property.

    Effortless Enchantment can advise on other travel arrangements, but I do not book them at this time.

  • Once your trip is booked, I provide you with all the information and tips you need for an effortless Disney Vacation.

    I consult with you to determine the best dining and Genie+ selections and, depending on the package tier you choose, I will advise you or assist you with those reservations.

    I monitor your reservation and apply any discounts for which you qualify which may be released after you book.

    I can also assist in booking any stroller or scooter rentals, special events, tours, spa appointments, and tee times. As well as Disney Accessibility Pass, if a member of your travel group qualifies.

    If you choose an Enhancement package, I will create a custom, personalized itinerary with daily park plans to help you avoid long lines and maximize your time in the parks.

    I will ensure that you are fully prepared when you leave for your trip and offer support along the journey.

  • I'm a specialist in Disney vacations, with a focus on Walt Disney World and Disneyland. By honing in on a limited number of destinations, I've become quite the expert and can offer my clients an abundance of in-depth knowledge.

  • While I do not book flights at the moment, I would love to assist you with any ground transportation needs to and from the airport.

  • As part of my services at Effortless Enchantment, I can help you with Booking Advance Dining Reservations.

    Before your reservation window, I will send you a survey to get your preferences and we can work together to choose the restaurants you'd like to try. Don't worry about booking the reservations yourself. I'll take care of it for you, making sure you get the number of reservations included in your package tier.

    Please keep in mind that dining reservations can be hard to get, so they may not be available during your trip. I'll do everything I can to get your priority dining reservations within your package tier. If I’m not able to secure a reservation, refunds won't be offered unless it was stated in your purchase.

  • Dining reservations are difficult to acquire, especially so the closer you get to travel dates.

    Dining reservations at your preferred restaurants may not be available during your trip.  Effortless

    Enchantment will put in every available effort to ensure that you have as many of your priority dining reservations as possible within your Enhancement Package Tier, however, refunds will not be offered for inability to procure a dining reservation(s), unless otherwise stated in the purchase.

  • The Extraordinary Enhancements package is the only package that includes Genie+, Individual Lightning Lane and Virtual Queue reservations.

    Clients will reimburse Effortless Enchantment for costs incurred in procuring agreed upon reservations, should the guest card be unavailable for reservations, such as Genie+ or Individual Lightning Lane selections. Reimbursements will be invoiced daily and must be paid in order to continue services for subsequent dates.

  • Enhancement packages are additional services that I offer in addition to my vacation planning. These planning fees are service fees, which are not included in your travel expenses.

  • Itinerary Planning available first come, first served basis, the calendar fills up quickly. Should your dates be unavailable for planning services, your deposit will be returned.

  • I require a minimum of 2 weeks (14 days) notice prior to the first date of travel in order to provide you with restaurant reservations and itinerary planning services.

  • Some reservations require Effortless Enchantment to have access to your My Disney Experience account using your username and password.

    Providing access to your account grants Effortless Enchantment permission to make reservations and changes to your itinerary on your behalf.

    All passwords are stored in PCI compliant password vaults and are deleted as soon as the working relationship has ended.

  • Disney does a fantastic job of creating an inclusive experience for people of all abilities and needs. I am well-equipped to help plan for a variety of unique challenges, including physical handicaps, cognitive delays, ASD, and dietary restrictions.

    Rest assured that I will do everything in my power to make sure everyone on your vacation is not just comfortable, but have an experience that is truly magical.

  • It is especially valuable to have me help you navigate the ins and outs of your reservations when you have a larger group. No matter the occasion or group size, I have the experience, connections, and know-how to plan a truly magical experience for you.

    Just a heads up, I usually charge a service fee for planning trips for contracted groups as the supplier offers special pricing that does not compensate me for my services.

  • Absolutely!

    My Effortless Essentials package is included in the price of your Disney vacation, my vacation planning fees are paid by my commission through Disney. 

    You will pay the same as or less than what you would if you booked for yourself through Disney. The advantage of booking with Effortless Enchantment is that I can often find discounts and other promotional offerings that you might not be aware of.

    I do offer Enhancement packages for an additional fee, but those are an add-on service and are separate from your vacation booking.

  • Disney includes a fee in their prices so it costs the same to book with me as with Disney. If you book with Disney directly, they keep the fee and don't offer extra planning. If you book with Effortless Enchantment, you support a small business and get the benefit of my travel planning help.

  • It's possible that your reservation can be transferred to Effortless Enchantment. If you'd like to explore this option, feel free to send me an email at megan@effortlessenchantment.com.

    It's a simple process that won't cost you a thing! If we can make it work, you'll get all of the benefits of my Effortless Essentials package for free!

    If not, don't worry, you can still use my Emergency Enhancement services for planning, depending on the specifics of your trip.

  • As a professional courtesy, I choose not to accept transfers for vacations that have been booked with another travel agency/agent.

    However, I do offer an "Emergency Enhancements" package that might be able to help with the details if you need it, even if you didn't book your trip with me.

  • Yes, you can definitely take advantage of my Emergency Enhancements package even if you didn't book your trip through me. I'm happy to help out as long as I have availability on my calendar.

payment & financing FAQs

  • I am excited to help you plan your Disney Vacation, however, it requires significant effort to extrapolate data from questionnaires to begin working on your vacation package. Therefore, a non-refundable, $50 deposit is required to book a planning meeting. The deposit will be applied back to your method of payment after your first date of travel.

  • The answer is no, but with some caveats.

    Disney requires a deposit to secure your reservation, the amount of which varies based on your reservation type and Disney’s internal policies. I will let you know your deposit amount as a part of your vacation proposal as well as when your total balance is due and what payment plans you may be eligible for.

    If you are booking a trip very close to your travel dates, you may be required to pay a larger deposit or pay for your trip in full prior to booking.

    All additional services provided by Effortless Enchantment, including Enhancement Packages, will be paid in advance of receipt of services, with the exception of on the spot purchases for extras that have been agreed upon in advance.

  • Great question! You'll be happy to know that using Effortless Enchantment comes with some major benefits.

    I'll be keeping a careful eye on your trip and will always be on the lookout for any promotions or price reductions. And the best part? If I find any savings for you, I'll apply them proactively to your reservation. If I need to make any changes to your reservation to take advantage of a lower price, I'll always reach out to you first to discuss your options. So sit back, relax, and let us take care of everything for you!

  • Occasionally, Disney will lower their rates or announce special promotions.

    At Effortless Enchantment, I’m always on the lookout for discounts. When I hear about any specials, my system automatically flags any current reservation that may be eligible for the lowered price. Then, I check to see if the reservation can be converted to the sale promotion. While I can't guarantee that I'll be able to lower your rate, I'll work diligently to make it happen. So let's see what we can do!

  • Effortless Enchantment accepts all major credit cards and debit cards for all payments.

    When you provide me with your card number, I'll share it with the travel supplier who will process the transaction on their end. You'll see the charge from the supplier on your statement.

  • Effortless Enchantment, acting as your agent, will apply payments directly to The Walt Disney Travel Company (or other supplier for non-Disney travel) on your behalf.

    Don't worry, I don't hold or deposit any money to my company bank account except for planning fees charged for Enhancement Packages.

    All booking and ticketing transactions will be paid directly to the supplier through their secure payment processing system.

    You can rest easy knowing that your payments are safe because they're made directly to the supplier. When you make your reservations, you use my secure form to provide me with your credit card information for booking. In turn, I give that information to Disney or any other supplier. Then, the supplier charges your card. This way, you can be sure that every payment you make towards your vacation is applied directly to your reservation.

  • It is totally understandable that sometimes it's necessary to cancel, reschedule, or change your vacation plans. No worries, Effortless Enchantment won't charge any fees for changes or cancellations for the Effortless Essentials package.

    For Enhancement Packages, there is no fee for one date change for your package, pending availability, any additional changes will require the repurchase of the package.

    Enhancement Packages become non-refundable 75 days prior to your departure date.

    However, please note that the suppliers' change and cancellation policies still apply. I will provide the terms and conditions for any suppliers we're booking for you prior to your deposit. If you have any questions about these policies, don't hesitate to ask for clarification. I am always happy to clarify!

  • Effortless Enchantment may require your credit card payment information to make reservations on your behalf.

    You will receive secure forms to send your information or you will receive a phone call. Effortless Enchantment will never store your credit card information on personal servers and uses PCI compliant software for all credit card information.

    Never send your credit card information via email or text message.

  • Travel insurance is a great way to protect yourself from unexpected events that may happen during your trip, like trip cancellations or medical emergencies, and more.

    With travel insurance, you won't have to worry about financial losses resulting from these events. Although it's not mandatory, it's definitely worth considering, especially for longer or more expensive trips.

    Before purchasing any travel insurance policy, make sure to review the terms and coverage to ensure it provides the protection you need.
